21 Mar Fortress Expands Client Roster and Showcases Technology at Top Events
The Fortress team started out 2024 working on and planning some of the world’s leading sporting events. First up on New Year’s Day was the Fiesta Bowl at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, where we managed primary and club secondary access for one of the premiere games in US College Football. Later in the month we saw the launch of our first event with the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) – The Drive On Championship in Bradenton, Florida. Our devices provided primary and VIP club access, and also scanned media and players credentialing. A very exciting Super Bowl was held in Las Vegas for the first time, and we were proud to continue to manage access for all staff, media and security entering the stadium and field via over 100 of the newest Fortress Pedestal Scanners, which were built specially for Super Bowl LVIII. We also utilized biometric authentication again for fast identification with over 80,000 scans registered. The cherry on top: Seeing our client the Kansas City Chiefs win their fourth Super Bowl! In other client news, the RFU – Twickenham Stadium recently implemented the Fortress Accreditation Solution, and we added the following iconic names to the Fortress Client Roster in partnership with Orange Business: FC Girondins de Bordeaux, RC Lens, AS Saint-Etienne, Grand Prix de l’ACF and LNR (The French National Rugby League). Last but certainly not least, with March marking International Women’s Day we were beyond proud to launch our access solutions at the opener of the NWSL’s Kansas City Current, in the first stadium to ever be built solely for pro women’s sports!
