Over the years, women’s representation in the sports industry has improved significantly, with more female athletes and professionals making their mark in various sports. There have been notable strides in recent years, such as the increased visibility of women’s sports events and the growing number of female coaches and executives. These efforts should continue to ensure that women’s voices and contributions are valued and recognized in the sports industry.
For this reason, we would like to organize two round tables:

On March 3-9 our team will travel to Boston and New York to organize several activities and meetings with US sports entities, as well as attendance to 2 big events. This will be a great opportunity for you to expand your network and learn more about this market.
The complete agenda of the event will be the following:

March 6: GSIC presentation and networking ant Microsoft USA office (11 Times Sq, New York, NY 10036, USA)

As the national sports agency, Sport Singapore’s core purpose is to inspire the Singapore spirit and transform Singapore through sport. The GSIC facilitates synergies and provides its members with value-added services that enable sports entities and companies to grow and develop with the help of experienced professionals in sports tech ecosystem. Our main service providers are our own members that make their best services and products available to the market.
She has developed her professional career linked to enterprise development and the support of SMEs from the public and private side, with special focus on culture sector, Spanish language-related economy, entertainment and sports industry. Specializing in project management, networking creation and business development. Since the beginning of 2015, she has launched the GSIC promoted by Microsoft, a collaborative initiative between the public, private and academic sectors, which aims to promote innovation in the sports industry, creating an ecosystem composed by nearly 200 companies and institutions that generate synergies and value projects in the sector.
He has developed his professional career fully linked to the sports industry, with over 5 years of experience working at different sports companies, such as LaLiga where he has been managing and developing the CRM Strategy for 2 years. Holds a dual degree in Business & Marketing and a Master degree in Sports Management and Sports Marketing.
Raj is an experienced digital leader combining experiences across the technology, startup and consulting worlds. His career foundation and experience was built on multinational and entrepreneurial roles in go-to-market, business development and change management while based in Asia and London. His cross-industry exposure in APAC and EMEA to new product introduction and transformation projects in disruptive industries is an invaluable part of his approach to solving problems for customers and partners. Raj holds an MBA from Imperial College Business School.
Born in Ukraine, Sofiya holds a Degree in Film, Television and Social Media studies by Carlos III University of Madrid (Spain) as well as a Master Degree in Official Protocol, Production, Organization and Design of events. She had complimented her training with Digital Marketing studies and International Media and Communication courses at Aarhus University (Denmark). She has developed her professional career linked to communication, digital marketing, and event management working at different media such as Factoria Plural and Boomerang TV, communication and event agencies such as CTC, Somosaguas, and Event Management. Since 2018 Sofiya is leading communication and public relations at Global Sports Innovation Center powered by Microsoft, working closely with technology-based companies who develop solutions for the Sports industry. One of the main activities she develops at her position is a regular creation of contents to create connections mong sports-tech ecosystem worldwide, spread knowledge about disruptive innovation, bring digital transformation to the sports industry and boost tech-based companies’ businesses.
Guillermo is a person with multiple facets: Multilingual former Hockey Athlete, Sports industry industry professional with experience in innovation and digital transformation management.
With a business background and a creative, innovative and entrepreneurial attitude. He is always wanting to connect with disruptive people with one purpose: To encourage positive change and disruption so people and organisations can be empowered to contribute to a better, innovative and sustainable world.
Experienced Executive Assistant with a demonstrated history of working both as a CEO assistant and as team assistant exposed to international cultures during work and studies. I am passionate about what I do and enjoy witnessing how Sports customers become digital businesses powered by Microsoft Cloud.

Next came a startup, creating Champions League match highlights for six Vodafone markets and Robbie Williams concerts, followed by the iPlayer at the BBC, ESPN Player in Singapore, KL and Hong Kong, BallBall in Indonesia, Vietnam & Japan, and, most recently, selling highlights to the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup into 140+ countries. eSports is now in focus for this Cricket Tragic, and he’s using digital video as a central catalyst to forge partnerships with brands, agencies, media, event venues and fans.
