Jorge Mur, Partner at Mur Asesores, emphasised the importance of transparency in tax management for sports organisations. Compliance with tax obligations and opportunities to maximise tax and legal benefits were discussed. Experts stressed maintaining accurate accounting and being aware of tax regulations. Strategies for tax exemptions and deductions were shared, highlighting the importance of specialised advice to avoid penalties and optimise resources. Sports Sponsorship for Sports Entities
Beñat Bengoetxea, Head of Marketing and Sponsorships, introduced an innovative sponsorship programme with €500,000 for 2024-2025. This aims to support clubs and federations in development and expansion, providing resources to improve infrastructures, programmes, and activities. The session detailed accessing the sponsorship programme and its benefits, stressing the importance of well-structured projects aligned with sponsor objectives. Examples showed how clubs used sponsorship to enhance management, visibility, and participation.
