29 Nov rEvolution APAC Launches Quarterly Thought Leadership Series – Play It Forward
On 14th November, rEvolution APAC hosted its inaugural event under its thought leadership series – Play it Forward: APAC, in an invite only closed-doors event at the Mandala Club, with marketing leaders, senior executives, and well-wishers in attendance.
The event kicked off with a keynote address by Carla Buzasi, CEO – WGSN, and former editor in chief of the Huffington Post, that unveiled key trends and insights for brands to supercharge their consumer engagement efforts. Up next, was a fireside chat between Iciri Rai, Regional Director Sponsorship at Mastercard and Fernando Loureiro, VP Integrated Client Services – APAC at rEvolution. This session focused on Iciri’s experience as a former professional tennis player turned brand executive, now implementing some of Mastercard’s key sports activations. These sessions were followed by a wine tasting experience and open networking. Claire Ritchie, Head of APAC, rEvolution, was the host for the evening, while John Rowady, rEvolution’s CEO, who travelled from the global headquarters in Chicago, delivered the closing address.
Having commenced operations in APAC through its Singapore base in January this year and delivered on multiple client engagements in the region, rEvolution APAC established its quarterly thought leadership series in conjunction with its growing presence in the region, to grow and nurture the ecosystem with rich and actionable industry insights and demonstrate its commitment to brands and rightsholders in the region.
Play it Forward: APAC is a quarterly series, comprised of a podcast, a closed-doors event and a whitepaper revolving around a central theme. This initiative is all about building a community of leaders that shape the sports and entertainment industry in the region. A space built for ideas and experiences to be shared, connections made, and business forged.
Stay tuned for our next quarter where we will unveil everything around motorsports consumption in Asia. Amazing speakers and guests are already being lined up and we can’t wait to share all that with our community.
