01 Nov Virtex Unveils a new immersive 3D Watch Party Experience for League of Legends Worlds
Virtex brings the biggest esports competition in the world, League of Legends Worlds, to its application Virtex Stadium. This is the third time this year Virtex has created an immersive 3D watch party experience for one of Riot Games’ major tournaments, following Valorant VCT Tokyo and Valroant LA Champions.
Virtex has created a custom-themed 3D virtual Watch Party Stadium to show the LoL Worlds from the Quarterfinals on the 2nd of November to the finals on the 19th of November. Users can access this experience via the web browser www.virtexstadium.com/launch, a new experimental feature thanks to Virtex’ partnership with Nvidia. Virtex Stadium is also available as a Steam app
The virtual Watch Party Stadium offers fans, who can’t make the trip to South Korea, a taste of the live event and a place to experience the action together with other fans, just like in a real world arena. Users can chat through spatialized voice comms and equip their avatars with props and emotes. The synchronized video streaming ensures that every viewer in the stadium witnesses the action simultaneously, fostering an electric atmosphere where cheers and reactions are shared in real-time.
