Concacaf, the regional governing body for football (soccer) in North America, Central America and the Caribbean, has launched an innovative new website as part of the organization’s strategy to provide enhanced content for fans.
The new website – available at www.concacaf.com – has been developed and designed by Concacaf as part of a wider fan engagement strategy. With 2021 being Concacaf’s 60th anniversary year, the site will also be the host of a broad range of Concacaf 60 content, housed on a dedicated ‘Concacaf 60 hub’, including videos, images, stories and interviews which celebrate the football during the past sixty years of Concacaf.
The new concacaf.com has a modern design, a clean look and feel and a dynamic yet straightforward user experience. It will continue to grow in the coming weeks and months with development underway to introduce an innovative “Fan Passport” which will enable users to create an account, add preferences and, through a simple sign-in process, have a profile which provides them with a personalized content experience.
“There is a huge fan base that follows Concacaf competitions, and this exciting new website is a key part of our strategy to provide them with a fantastic digital experience,” said Concacaf General Secretary, Philippe Moggio. “As we head into a great summer of Concacaf football, starting with our Concacaf Nations League Finals next week, we look forward to engaging even more users and fans through this dynamic new platform”, added Moggio.
“Concacaf has a commitment to being football first and that means our digital channels have to be fan first. That is the approach we have taken with this revamped website and we are extremely pleased with the results,” said Concacaf Chief Commercial Officer, Heidi Pellerano. “We look forward to delivering a great digital platform for fans as we head into a very exciting summer and beyond for the Confederation”, added Pellerano.
With the new concacaf.com in place, a revamped editorial content strategy will be delivered to focus on promoting and celebrating Concacaf competitions, national teams, leagues and clubs in North America, Central America and the Caribbean, as well as Concacaf region players across the globe.
