01 Jun How’s Oliver tech is helping from Fundacion Real Madrid campus experience to teams playing Copa Libertadores
To provide elite technology to the developing football sectors is the mission that OLIVER has made very clear from its beginnings.
Here we show you how our technology, which has GPS, accelerometers and gyroscope among other sensors, is breaking through in the different sectors of football: From youth divisions to professional football, such as teams that perform in 2nd and 3rd divisions from Europe, to teams in Latin America competing in international cups like the prestigious Copa Libertadores 2021. The objective of equality perceived by the company deserved to be added separately, having developed an inclusive product, with a gender perspective that is already used in women’s football teams & leagues.
In the youth football area, OLIVER became the high-performance technology partner in Campus Experience, a project of Fundacion Real Madrid that offers the opportunity of living an elite experience to children and teenagers who train under the methodologies of “La Casa Blanca” and share football´s values.
Campus Experience Fundacion Real Madrid trusts OLIVER to empower the experience of its participants and promote training at the highest level. In turn it is a valuable tool for players who are beginning to train as footballers to know their own abilities, potential and be able to evolve.
Also in Spain, we highlight the case of CD Guadalajara, which plays in 2nd Division B. Their coaches & staff bet on OLIVER focusing on evolving talents and preventing injuries, measuring athletic and football metrics as well as health monitoring. David De La Fuente, physical trainer of the team say this about OLIVER: “It allow us to plan trainings and behave like 1st division teams” (Play video)
As mentioned above, OLIVER is thought and designed with a gender perspective to be an inclusive and comfortable equipment for everyone. That is why OLIVER decided to place the GPS tracker on the calf-sleeve so it does not invade or discomfort as vests (designed for men) do in female players. The women’s team of 1st division from Spain “Santa Teresa Badajoz”, uses our technology and express it:
Santa Teresa´s Physical trainer, José María Pinilla: “In women’s football, we are experiencing exponential growth that makes the requirements even bigger. Keeping up the upward progression from the previous season to be competitive is our main goal, and OLIVER’s technology has become our best partner.”
Nayadet López, Santa Teresa´s player says: “OLIVER is very comfortable and easy to use, since it is placed in the calf-sleeve and we are already used to it”. (Play video)
Now we go to Venezuela, and not just any team, La Guaira FC, current champion of the 1st division and competitor of “La Copa Libertadores de América”, who use OLIVER allowing them to improve both individually and team level in each training and game. Francisco Pol, La Guaira´s player adds: “The calf-sleeve is really comfortable, it doesn’t bother at all”
We are materializing our mission to bring elite technology to all sectors of football: being passionate about the idea that both amateur and professional football can access high-technology. OLIVER is present as an achievable tool for all those who seek to evolve their game, as well as prevent injuries and see it reflected in results.
