31 May Startup Competition 2019 – 25 pre-finalists are chosen
The global Startup Competition 2019 the GSIC and LaLiga had launched on January 29th is moving forward after closing the call on March 31st.
With a total of 279 inscriptions, the call was very successful as it found repercussion in 58 countries and allowed to gather best innovative solutions developed by technology-based startups. Among the total amount of the companies who applied for participation in this competition, the biggest part is focusing on Fan Engagement, and the most frequent technologies used are AI, machine learning, VR, big data and video analytics tools.
Likewise, the list of 25 pre-finalist from 11 countries who had passed careful screening driven by GSIC and LaLiga’s experts includes (in alphabetical order): Antropometría IBV (Spain), bFAN Sports (France), Biyectiva (Spain), CINFO (Spain), DOT VANTAGEM+ (Portugal), edisn.ai (India), FanWide (USA), FlyFut (Spain), Glory4Gamers (France), Graffos (Spain), Grupo ECSA (Argentina), Heptasense (Portugal), JUMP Data-Driven Video (Spain), MyFavorito (Germany), Sceenic (UK), Signality (Sweden), Snaptivity (UK), Solos Limited (Australia), Spalk (USA), The Dream VR (Spain), ThermoHuman (Spain), Tookens Blockchain Technology (Spain), Ubox (Spain), UIB (Singapore), Uplause (Finland)
All the pre-finalists will make their online pitches next June 6th via Microsoft Teams tool and the jury who will meet this day at GSIC headquarters will select 10 finalists to attend the immersion week in Madrid on September. Our jury will be composed by professionals from GSIC, LaLiga, Microsoft Sports, Mallorca Millennials and Microsoft for Startups.
