This month ECAL has worked alongside Immediate Media and Bet 365 to produce The Qatar 22 WC Calendar. This calendar was put together in record time so that World Cup fans could sync all fixtures or simply their favourite team’s matches direct to their personal calendar. Football fans who subscribe to the Qatar WC Calendar are guaranteed not to miss a kick-off throughout the tournament, courtesy of ECAL, you’re welcome!
Additionally, we built global schedules into the solution to ensure that fans all over the world get match reminders delivered to them in their relevant time zone and language. The schedule is also feed-driven saving the client time and resource and ensuring they don’t need to make any updates during the next stage of the competition. We even built in logic that means the events will update after the match with the final results!
Most importantly to the client, every Qatar 22 WC event has been created to help incentivise World Cup fans to join bet365 and get involved with the World Cup betting community. As such, each event reminder contains links to bet365’s Live WC Odds and WC Boosts and we’re already seeing excellent click-through rates and engagement levels.
